Our mandate at the Australian Rugby Foundation is to support Rugby in Australia with the overarching goal of increasing the investment into rugby around the country across all aspects of the game.

We are thrilled to see that tax-deductible donations into Australian Rugby increased by 44% compared to the previous year. We are extremely proud to have supported the state unions and community clubs as part of our national fundraising strategy in order to achieve this incredible result.

We kicked off our National Fundraising Strategy in 2018 with the goal of helping clubs in their fundraising efforts. We launched a Rugby Fundraising Toolkit created in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation and then set across the country delivering fundraising workshops.

The toolkit offers tips, strategies and case studies to help execute a successful fundraising campaign whilst also providing clubs with information and resources on how to build awareness, targeting the right audience, providing recognition to donors as well as how to offer tax deductibility to their donors.

We have also launched a Fundraising Resources section on our website which houses all the state specific toolkits, case studies on fundraising successes from local clubs, fundraising tips as well as upcoming workshop dates.
